Banana Oat Cakes
Happy What The Fork Wednesday, y'all!
These are the very first "heathy pancakes" I ever made. Easy, versatile, & kids LOVE them.
3 ingredients and 10 minutes is all you need.
2 egg whites
1/2 ripe banana (you can use frozen also)
1/2 cup rolled oats (could sub a nut flour or other oat here)
Blend all ingredients together in a blender.
Spoon by TBSP onto a non stick pan, low heat. (I recommend spraying some non stick oil. I use coconut, it tastes gooood)
Let cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until bubbles start to form.
Top with your favorite combo! I chose blueberries, the other half of the banana, almond butter, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
